A beginner's guide to book binding.
This workshop will teach you the classic book binding technique, and instruct you through step-by-step to bind an A5 book. We will provide all the tools and materials needed, and you will get to take home the book you made. We'll also provide some colouring and drawing materials should you wish to decorate your front cover during the class.
This workshop is suitable for anyone! Both beginners and those with experience are welcome.

Your Facilitator
Rebecca Meltzer works in Opera as a Director, Movement Director, Choreographer and Teacher. She is an interdisciplinary artist. She studied Music at Durham University followed by a MA in Movement: Directing and Teaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She also works as a landscape painter, having exhibited work with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and the Southwest Academy of Fine Art.
